Whew!
Homestudy visit is over!!! Overall, things went well. She arrived thirty minutes early and the problem with that was that we had saved the kitchen floor for the very last, so that it would be sparkling when she arrived at 9:30. At 9:00, when she rang the bell, it was gross. Two of the kids weren't dressed yet, but otherwise, it came off without a hitch. The master's surgery will be on Friday and once he is awake and stable, I think I will be able to breath again.

A half hour early! I would have still been in my nasty cleaning clothes without having taken a shower. What was she thinking? Glad to hear it went well. We'll be praying for hubby.
Kitchen floor is definitely ALWAYS last!! I have gotten caught numerous times with a gross kitchen floor when someone came early.
We will be keeping all of you in our prayers this Friday and afterwards. What does recovery time look like/ prosthesis arrival/ etc. ?
Oh no,I can't believe she was early! She should have driven through Sonic or something! Oh well, it's real life with a big family - she'll just have to deal with it, right??
